SHARE YOUR STORY
If you are a current or former emergency service worker, military operator, or work in a high pressure environment (eg. Nurse, Doctor, Teacher, Uni Student, Mother, Father!) and have a personal experience that you would like to share, we would love to hear from you. If you have experienced a challenging time in your life that tested, or continues to test, your mental strength and health, then you have an important story to share.
Opening up and talking about the hard things in life, like PTSD or PTS, anxiety and depression is one way we can work to overcome these challenges, and help others to overcome them too. You can share your story with as few or as many people as you like. You can share it with just us. You can share it with a grade 9 class at a school. You can share it with a community men’s group. Whoever you would like to share with, we can provide opportunities for you to do so. Have courage.
Collect up all your new, used or unwanted pencils and stationery items to be given to less-fortunate children.
Individuals, companies or businesses can sponsor an individual to travel to a community to give aid, and experience the inspiration in giving. This is essentially the heart of what Lion Heart aims to do – provide individuals who have suffered challenges in their lives, the opportunity to experience new purpose and passion for life.
